We’re celebrating white papers!
We’re all about celebrating what has big impact, and we’ve found that white papers have been underrated and, to date, haven’t fully taken advantage of their opportunity to make an impact. White papers give you the best chance to share your opinion and those insights you gain from working in a specific market, industry, or space that make you think, “Why is no one talking about this?”, “This could be better,” or those moments when you get frustrated because “this shouldn’t be happening.”
They allow you to grow as a thought leader without seeming like an over-opinionated “expert” and help elevate your ideas by presenting them alongside a range of balanced perspectives and experiences. Because we think white papers are the best, and we dedicate a lot of our time to celebrating them.
Gain Authority
Professional trust grows from curiosity not ego. It means showing up asking questions listening learning and sharing what you discover. Share your thoughts and opinions in a way that leaves space for future conversations and collaboration. We work with people who are getting comfortable showing up as themselves and have no interest in talking over others or faking their way into “expert” status.
Building authority is less about becoming a know-it-all and more about earning genuine shared respect for the knowledge you do have. It’s about sharing your learnings, being open about your growth and doing it with a clear set of values you stand by. Too often we end up shouting our way toward authority and respect but the real shift happens when you bring people along for the journey showing them how you got to where you are and what shaped your perspectives.
Build Partnerships
Partnerships happen when people or organisations come together because they genuinely share a purpose and mission. It’s about knowing what really matters to both of you and how working together with your time and resources can get you where you need to go. When you reach out to stakeholders don’t beat around the bush. Have a clear idea of the direction you want to take and what the opportunity might be.
Respect their time and busy schedules by not leaving them to figure out what the partnership is. Come to the table with ideas you can explore together. But don’t be so rigid that you think you already have all the answers. The goal is to build something together that works for everyone.
Our white papers are a great way to build real connections and invite collaboration. Instead of pushing a hard sell you are welcoming them into a generative conversation.
Grow Influence
We all want things to go our way. But when we are engaging with decision makers and stakeholders, we have to remember they are people too, with their own agendas, commitments, and pressures. The best way to become part of their decision making is to understand what is going on for them and the direction they are heading.
Once you know that, you can start conversations in a way that shows you understand where they are now and where they want to go. From there, you can offer knowledge or insights that are genuinely useful before they make their next move. The goal is to be helpful, not forceful, and to focus on good outcomes for everyone.
Influence is not about manipulation. It is about walking alongside decision makers, sharing what you have learned in ways that support their goals. Our white papers are a great for this because they let you share knowledge and perspective and invite collaboration without making others feel wrong.
Get funding + buy-In
If you want funding or buy-in, the first thing to understand is that there is no such thing as a handout. The idea that a good idea on its own should get instant support can keep you stuck. Even if what you are saying is true and needed, that does not mean someone will throw money at it. Most of the world works in a way that expects productivity and measurable outcomes before committing resources.
The mindset shift is this: funding is earned through alignment, not entitlement. If part of what you are seeking is money or resources, start by building your authority, credibility, and trust in who you are. Build partnerships. Share your knowledge and research to guide decisions and invite conversation into collaboration.
Once you find an opportunity where your purpose and impact align with someone else’s goals, work together on how you can get there. Influencing the decision is often the main driver in whether someone will back you. A white paper is a powerful way to start that process. It shows the thinking, evidence, and experience that led you to believe this is the right path, and it invites others to see the potential of impact with you.
We do the best white papers!
We are not just copywriters. We are researchers who dig into the facts, shape narratives so they connect, and know how to turn stories into change that gets noticed and acted on. We understand the work because we have been part of it, not just observing from the sidelines.
We invest in the impact our clients want to see and become their biggest fans and celebrators. Our white papers are more than reports. They bring your experience, perspective, and real stories together with solid research to create something that speaks to people’s heads and hearts.

FAQ’s
-
A white paper helps you shift thinking, influence decisions, and shape conversations in your industry. It's a mix of research, real-world knowledge, lived experience, and a strong point of view. The goal isn't to push a hard sell. It's to invite curiosity, show what you stand for, and open the door to collaboration.
-
There’s no one-size-fits-all. It’s less about word count and more about getting your message across in a clear, meaningful way. You don’t want something so long it sends people to sleep, but you also don’t want to skip the detail that gives your thinking weight.
-
White papers aren’t fiction, and they’re not full-blown academic papers either. They sit somewhere in the middle. We’re researchers, but we’re also working with real people, real stories, and real results. You can include academic research to back up your points though. A strong white paper weaves solid evidence with lived experience and clear thinking. It’s practical, honest, and written so people actually want to read it.
-
No, it won’t sound like us. It will sound like you, and that’s exactly how it should be. We focus on your message, your brand, and who you’re sharing it with. But most people can tell when someone has worked with us. Our white papers feel different because we have a whole different approach and like to pack-a-punch to create impact.
-
This really depends on your goals, who is funding the paper, and why. If you’re funding it yourself or working with others, the level of company presence can change a lot. It also depends on how brave and open your organisation is to diverse thinking and fresh ideas. We know some companies aren’t ready for bold moves just yet and that is okay. In our process, we work with you to find the right balance so your message feels authentic and fits your culture. We don’t want to put anything out there that feels too brave if you’re not ready. It has to feel right for you.
-
It depends on the story you want to tell but you need a good balance of both. Evidence backs up your points and builds trust. This can be data, research, or even stories as long as they come from a solid, evidence-based approach and the information has integrity. Opinion adds context and shows your experience and unique perspective. Everything you share should come from real knowledge and lived experience. When balanced well, your white paper feels trustworthy and relatable.
-
It really depends on your topic and who you’re writing for. If the white paper is backing up something bigger or following on from earlier work, it probably needs to be specific and focused. But if you want to invite a wide audience and spark broad interest, then a more general approach works better. The key is knowing your reader’s expectations and what they need to get out of it. We help you find the right balance so your white paper feels relevant and clear.
-
Yes, we can. We handle everything from research and gathering information to interviews, data, stories, media, photos, and even videos if you want. You stay involved through a collaborative check-in process and help out with initial information gathering, but we do all the work.
-
A white paper typically costs between $3,000 and $5,000. This includes everything such as deep research, interviews, real stories, content creation and professional design. It is a complete engaging document you can use again and again.
-
First, you do the quiz so we can learn more about you and your needs. Then we reach out to see if you are ready to move forward. If you are not quite ready, we offer a free 20-minute ideas jam to help you get clear. We do not waste your time. We only start the process when you are truly ready. Once you are set, you leave a deposit and we put you on our popular white paper waitlist. While you are waiting, we send you points for reflection and a list of what to gather so we can hit the ground running when it is your turn. (Yes, I want to do thew quiz)
-
We currently have a four-week wait list, but don’t let that stop you. The first step is doing the quiz to see if you’re ready. Use that time for reflection and to get everything together if you’re not quite there yet. We do ask for a deposit to hold your spot, but we only start the process when you’re truly ready.
