When we met Bayside Finance and Property, they didn’t have an established brand that felt true to them. They had a few brands, websites, and looks, but they were mostly reacting to what their peers were doing—shaped by industry norms rather than their own instincts. Working with us was a relief for them because we gave them full permission to follow their gut vibe—not a set of rules.
Bayside are deeply connected, values-led people who’ve built a trusted business over more than a decade through good old-fashioned principles and relationships. Our work together has been about honouring that while making space for them to evolve.
We started by listening. We ran customer interviews and turned what we heard into insights that helped shape strategy. From there, we developed their brand, messaging, and website, and gathered stories from their customers—stories that continue to guide the way forward.
We’re still working together. Listening is ongoing, and we now support them in evolving their business processes and strengthening their word-of-mouth referral initiatives. We help them make business decisions that feel good to their gut, honour the relationships that got them here, and stay aligned with their values and purpose.
Our partnership has also helped them shape a strategy for customer outreach, as part of their broader social impact goals—building trust across regional and multicultural communities, delivering workshops at neighbourhood and community houses, offering translated sessions, and continuing to collect real customer stories.
We’re active within the business: designing, doing, supporting the team as they navigate and adapt to change. Finance and property can often feel scammy, exclusive, or overly polished. This new brand and community outreach strategy is about creating something different—something that’s inclusive, welcoming, and grounded. It breaks the norms of the industry, not for the sake of it, but to genuinely reflect who Bayside are, what they stand for, and what their customers are asking for.
We’ll continue working with Bayside Finance and Property long into the future. They’re based in the City of Glen Eira, and our partnership is going from strength to strength.
Listening has already had a big impact: fast growth, increased awareness, and new leads coming in—leads who actually align with their values, goals, and ways of working.
